Status of AV Technology Upgrades at the Myllypuro and Karamalmi Campuses

The presentation technology in the learning spaces at the Myllypuro and Karamalmi campuses is being upgraded between May and September.

Myllypuro

The upgrade is slightly behind schedule, and the technology in all spaces could not be renewed before the start of the academic year. Please note the following points for the rest of August:

  • All spaces have functional equipment: either the newly upgraded system or the old system. Standard spaces function as before. The equipment turns on automatically when you connect your computer to the HDMI cable at the presentation point.
  • The new hybrid working solutions in classrooms and auditoriums are not yet fully available. For the time being, please use temporary solutions or light hybrid workspaces.
  • User instructions are still missing from the upgraded spaces, and some finishing touches remain to be done.

Karamalmi

The upgrade has been completed ahead of schedule, and the spaces are available for normal use again. User instructions for the equipment can be found in the spaces.
