In addition to the dialogue, feedback can be given in following ways
Feedback is collected in the end of each course through course feedback system in OMA. The feedback link opens two weeks before the end of the course and will be then open for three weeks. When the teacher has responded to the feedback, you will receive an automated email message.
Students have a possibility to give anonymous feedback during the course through the OMA workspace "Give feedback to the teacher" link.
This survey is intended to the second-year bachelor students of Metropolia. In this survey, you can give feedback on your studies as a whole so far. The survey corresponds to the national Graduand Feedback Questionnaire (AVOP) where applicable. The survey is carried out every autumns.
The Ministry of Education and Culture collects feedback from all graduating students of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences by AVOP-feedback.
Graduating student can start by filling the Graduation Notification at Oma service in Student´s Desktop by selecting Applications and then Graduation. Graduation process will start by answering the AVOP questionnaire.
Sign in by HAKA login at AVOP site.
After answering the questionnaire there is a link to the Graduation Notification form in the end of the questionnaire. If you don´t fill in the Graduation Notification immediately please save the Graduation Notification link to able to fill in the Graduation Notification later. By the same link you may follow the graduation process and also edit your Graduation Notification.
PLEASE NOTE! You must have 80 % (Bachelor) or 50 % (Master) credits completed before you can respond to the questionnaire. Please contact Student Affairs Office studentservices [at] metropolia.fi if you have questions.
Metropolia’s services collect feedback from students every other year via an online survey. These services collect feedback: IT Services, Student Affairs Offices, Library and Information Services, International Relations, Student Well-being Services, and Communications and Marketing Services. The feedback helps to develop the services according to students’ needs.
The Degree Programmes may have other feedback methods for their curriculum design development purposes.
Why we need your feedback
Feedback is a significant part of Metropolia's quality culture. It is important for us to follow our students' experiences and opinions in teaching and learning and focus our strategic educational development to the right issues. We use feedback to improve teaching and learning and to develop our supporting services.
Handling of student feedback
All student feedback is handled throug the student feedback process below:
The general principle is that all feedback is continuously handled by the person in charge of the unit or the Degree Programme. Course feedback is handeled by the teachers and it is as well discussed in the development discussions of the teaching staff.
