Leisure and Other Fun Activities

In the Helsinki metropolitan area, students can enjoy a wide range of free-time activities. You can take part in sports, cultural events, student organization activities, concerts, museum visits, or enjoy the outdoors.

METKA’s clubs

The purpose of the clubs is to create more communities and activities for Metropolia students.  The clubs are run by students, and METKA encourages to establish new clubs. The clubs operate independently, but you can get support from METKA. For example, METKA helps with marketing the club activities and reserving suitable facilities on campus.

There are currently three clubs operating under METKA: MMA Metropolia Martial Arts, which offers a variety of martial arts; MOAR, which focuses on arcade and rhythm games; and Tabletop, which is for those interested in board games and role-playing.

You can also start your own club! Read more on METKA's website.
