Ohjaamo - Guidance for various issues for young adults
Ohjaamo (ohjaamot.fi) is an advice and guidance service for young people aged 15-29. Ohjaamo offers a service/assistance with various issues related to your own life, such as studying, finding employment, housing/livelihood and welfare. Ohjaamo will not directly provide you with an apartment or social assistance, for example, but you will get plenty of information and support for applying for these things. The services provided by Ohjaamo and the professionals who work in the centers vary slightly between different locations. The weekly calendar shows when different specialists are present in Ohjaamo. The best way is to visit a One-Stop Guidance Center personally, either during the operating hours of the Center or at an agreed time. You can also contact the Centers by telephone, WhatsApp, text message and e-mail.
Financial and debt counselling
Financial and debt counsellors will help you if you are worried about your finances. They will advise you on all kinds of everyday financial issues, such as how to plan your spending and stay on budget. You can contact the financial and debt counselling services even if you are not in debt or only have a small amount of debt. Counselling is provided free of charge. Financial Counselling Clinics (oikeus.fi) are nation-wide, a low-threshold service for discussing everyday financial questions without booking an appointment. You can reflect on your situation, receive advice and go through different options with experts. Counselling is provided free of charge.
