Combining Studies and Elite Sports
Each student athlete's situation is unique, so it is important that you bring up your specific needs, whether they relate to the arrangements for training periods included in your studies, absences due to training camps or other practical issues.
Personal study plan
For each competitive or elite athlete student, a study plan that supports their athletic career is developed. The impact of the training and competition schedule on the studies is taken into account.
At Metropolia you will be supported by:
- Paula, Metropolia's Urhea-Contact, paula.lindqvist [at] metropolia.fi (paula[dot]lindqvist[at]metropolia[dot]fi)
- tutor teacher from your degree
- HOPS advisor or career counsellor
