Work placement in the field of culture
During the internship, you will deepen your working life skills and have the opportunity to build relationships with the company and various networks. The internship allows you to apply your knowledge in a working environment. In addition, you will become familiar with working life in the field and develop your teamwork and independent working skills. During the internship, you can acquire potential contacts, information, and material for your thesis.
The internship is worth 30 credits, which corresponds to 20 weeks of full-time work. The internship can be completed in two parts at different locations or at the same location. The internship is mainly completed during the third or fourth year.
The internship can be completed abroad. You can also discuss the possibility of approval if you have worked in a field related to your studies before or during your studies. If you have your own company, you can explore opportunities for developing your company during the internship.
For more information about the internship, please contact the internship coordinator for your degree programme. Information about possible work placements and recruitment events will be provided through the degree programme-specific channels. In the cultural field, we actively negotiate with employers regarding paid internships. Trade unions also provide guidance on paid internships, and you can find salary recommendations on their websites.
