As a degree student, you can apply for student benefits from Kela. If you work during your studies, be sure to consider the income limits and how your earnings may affect your eligibility for benefits.
As a degree student, you can apply for student financial aid from Kela. The financial aid includes a study grant, a housing supplement, and a government-guaranteered student loan.
Kela also provides a meal subsidy for degree students.
In certain situations, you may also apply for social assistance or sickness benefits from Kela. If you have a family, you may be eligible for Kela’s benefits for families with children.
