Annie Support Bot

Annie is a support bot that sends Metropolia students messages at various stages of their studies. Annie guides students in finding the right support and guidance to help them with their studies or well-being.

What is the Annie support bot?

Annie is a support bot designed for Metropolia students. It will contact you at different stages of your studies and offer help whenever you have concerns about your studies, study progress, or well-being.

Annie sends messages to your personal number via text message or WhatsApp. Annie’s goal is to ensure that you get the right support at the right time, easily and with little effort.

How does the Annie support bot work?

Annie can contact you with text- or WhatsApp message, for example:

  • at the start of your studies
  • at the end of the semester
  • while you are working on your thesis
  • if there are delays or other issues related to your studies

In the message, Annie asks if you need support. Please reply to the message following the bot’s instructions. 

If you express a need for support, Annie will direct you to the appropriate Metropolia support service or submit a support request to your counsellor, who will then contact you personally at a later time. 

Annie only uses the information from Metropolia’s systems that is necessary for your studies so that it can provide you with the right support at the right time. 

Important

Check the sender's number: Annie sends messages from the number +358 45 7396 0272. If the message comes from any other number, it was not sent by Annie.

If you don't want to receive messages from Annie, you can request to delete personal data, following the instructions on Metropolia’s website.
