Teaching periods

Teaching is scheduled in periods. Periods include teaching weeks, non-teaching weeks/self-study weeks, and holiday weeks. The non-teaching times for a student depend on their individual studies.

Degree programmes will provide separate information about the start dates of teaching and the non-teaching weeks. For more information, you can contact the Degree Programme’s Planner or Study Counselor. For example, the autumn semester always begins on August 1st, but compulsory teaching in Degree Programmes does not start on August 1st.

• Period 1: 1.8.- 18.10.2025
• Period 2: 20.10.-31.12.2025
• Period 3:  1.1. – 15.3.2026
• Period 4: 16.3. – 24.5.2026
• Summer Period: 25.5. – 31.7.2026

Academic Year 2026-2027

• Period 1: 1.8. – 18.10.2026
• Period 2: 19.10. – 31.12.2026
• Period 3: 1.1. - 21.3.2027
• Period 4: 22.3. - 23.5.2027
• Summer Period: 24.5.2027 - 31.7.2027

Academic Year 2027-2028

• Period 1: 1.8. - 17.10.2027
• Period 2: 18.10. - 31.12.2027
• Period 3: 1.1. - 19.3.2028
• Period 4: 20.3. - 21.5.2028
• Summer Period: 22.5. - 31.7.2028
