As a Metropolia student, you have access to a wide range of career materials, webinars, events, and guidance services to support your job search and career planning. Below, you will find more information about these opportunities.

Explore the Metropolia Career Guide
Metropolia Career Guide is a comprehensive toolkit created by Metropolia’s career coaches to help you recognise your skills, plan your career and succeed in your job search. It provides a step-by-step path from identifying your strengths and clarifying your career goals, to mastering practical job search skills such as writing an effective CV and cover letter, and preparing for interviews.
Make the Most of JobTeaser Career Portal
Metropolia uses the JobTeaser career portal to advertise job openings to students. If a company wants to recruit students from Metropolia, they are instructed to post the job opening on JobTeaser. You can find the following on JobTeaser:
- Internships and jobs for Metropolia students
- Internal internships at Metropolia
- Interesting career events
- Appointments for individual career guidance
- Exclusive jobsearch materials, such as checklists and editable CV-templates
Tip: Select the Metropolia filters and Targeted jobs to find positions advertised for Metropolia students.
CV-Clinics on Campus
Would you like to update your CV or get feedback on it?
The CV Clinic is open to all Metropolia students. Metropolia’s career coaches provide guidance in both Finnish and English. No appointment needed – stop by when it suits you!
The CV-clinics will resume in the fall semester of 2026. The dates will be announced on this page during September.
Career Webinars and Events
As a Metropolia student, you can take part in regular career-related webinars and various career events that help you develop your skills and build your professional network.
Metropolia is part of the 3AMK collaboration. This means that you as a Metropolia student can also participate in Haaga-Helia and Laurea's career events!

CV and Application Feedback
Need feedback on your CV or job application? First, review the Metropolia Career Guide and prepare your own draft. Then you can either bring your CV to a CV-clinic session or send it by email to careerservices [at] metropolia.fi (careerservices[at]metropolia[dot]fi)
Please note that we provide feedback on cover letters only when the relevant job advertisement is attached.

Individual Career Coaching
Would you like to discuss your career plans and job search in Finland? Career coaching offers you individual support for planning your future, exploring your options and understanding Finnish working life. You can book a one-to-one appointment through the JobTeaser appointment system.
