Enrollment for the academic year 

Enrollment for the academic year 2026-2027 is mandatory for all degree students and can be done on OMA Student's Desktop > Electronic Services > Enrollment for the academic year. The enrollment period is 1.5.-31.5.2026. 

Once you have enrolled for the next academic year, please check that your enrollment has been saved into the enrollment system. You can check that you have enrolled correctly to the upcoming terms at the bottom of the page. Note! Registration for the courses is not enough. Enrollment for the academic year must be done during the enrollment time. 

Enrollment is mandatory for all degree students. Neglecting to enroll leads to losing your study right. If you lose your study right, the handling fee for the application for regranting your study right is €50.

Student who must enroll for the extra academic year 

When the normative study time is going to end, the student must enroll for the +1 extra academic year. Enrollment is done on OMA at Student's Desktop > Electronic Services > Enrollment for the academic year. The enrollment time is 1.-31.5.2026.

Student whose study entitlement period is about to expire 

When a student's study entitlement period (the normative study time + 1 extra academic year) is about to expire, the student may apply for a discretionary extension to complete their studies. You can apply for a discretionary extension in AINI service https://aini.eduplan.fi/ (application time 15.4.-15.5.2026).

Enrollment for the academic year for students who are required to pay tuition fees
