Nominate Metropolia’s Alum of the Year 2026

It’s May and time to nominate an outstanding alum for Metropolia’s Alum of the Year award. The Alum of the Year 2026 will be selected based on nominations from alumni, students, and staff. Metropolia’s Alumni Relations will review the nominations and present a proposal to Metropolia’s executive group, which will make the final selection. The Alum of the Year will be announced on 12 November at the Alumni Gala at the Myllypuro Campus.

The Alumn of the Year 2026 advances future skills in their work

The Alum of the Year is a graduate of Metropolia (or its predecessors Stadia or EVTEK) who holds a higher education degree. The Alum of the Year is a positive and active Metropolia ambassador with exceptional problem-solving skills in their field. They boldly innovate, drive change in their industry, and build a sustainable future. They have also remained actively engaged in Metropolia after graduation, supporting for example the student community by sharing their experiences, networks, and expertise.

The Alum of the Year’s work may have a positive societal impact locally and perhaps even internationally. They act responsibly and promote equality, diversity, and sustainable development.
