As a Metropolia student, you have access to a wide range of career materials, webinars, events, and guidance services to support your job search and career planning. Below, you will find more information about these opportunities.

Metropolia Career Guide is a comprehensive toolkit created by Metropolia’s career coaches to help you recognise your skills, plan your career and succeed in your job search. Make the Most of the JobTeaser Career Portal

In the JobTeaser career portal, you’ll find job and internship opportunities for students, as well as a compilation of all career and recruitment events organised by Metropolia and other organisations. Through the platform, you can also book a career coaching appointment and access useful resources for your job search. Log in to JobTeaser with your Metropolia credentials.

Job Search Drop-in Guidance on Campus

Need help getting started with your job search, writing your CV or preparing for an interview? Job Search Drop-in guidance is available bi-weekly on the Myllypuro and Myyrmäki campuses. No appointment needed – stop by when it suits you! 

  • At Myllypuro campus (C lobby) from 11 to 13 on the following Tuesdays 18.11. | 2.12. | 16.12.
  • At Myyrmäki campus (C lobby)  from 11 to 13 on the following Wednesdays 12.11. | 26.11. | 10.12.

Need feedback on your CV or job application? First, review the Metropolia Career Guide and prepare your own draft. Then you can either bring your CV to a Job Search drop-in session or send it by email to careerservices [at] metropolia.fi (careerservices[at]metropolia[dot]fi) Please note that we provide feedback on cover letters only when the relevant job advertisement is attached.

Personal Career Coaching 

Would you like to discuss your career plans and job search in Finland? Career coaching offers you individual support for planning your future, exploring your options and understanding Finnish working life. You can book a one-to-one appointment through the JobTeaser appointment system.

Are you a business, IT, or engineering student looking for a compulsory internship opportunity? Herizon Internship Program offers a 15 ECTS (400h) internship where you work with SMEs on real projects. The programme is fully online and in English.

The program starts with a self-paced bootcamp and continues with a company placement (10–12 weeks, 30–40 h/week). The programme is open for applications throughout Fall of 2025.
