Nyyti ry is an organisation that promotes the mental health of students. Nyyti ry offers students low-threshold support and activities for mental health and life challenges, as well as tools for caring for their own and their peers’ wellbeing.

Nyyti Coaching

Are you looking for coaching to help find your direction and support to clarify your career and working life goals? Join NyytiCoaching!

This free coaching process includes three online one-on-one sessions with a trained professional coach. The program is open to university and university of applied sciences students in the final stages of their studies, as well as doctoral candidates, all over Finland.

The application period for the autumn NyytiCoaching program opens on September 1st. The actual coaching sessions will take place between October and December 2026.

Mindfulness Sessions 20 October and 3 November 2026

Welcome to join Nyyti ry’s English-speaking Mindfulness Sessions this autumn. The sessions offer a chance to slow down, practise mindfulness and learn simple skills that can help you manage stress and support relaxation. The sessions are based on a curious, allowing and kind attitude towards your own thoughts, feelings and experiences.

The Mindfulness sessions will be held on Tuesdays 20 October and 3 November 2026 from 5:30 to 6:15 pm on Zoom. You can join either session or both. Registration is open.

LGBTQIA+ in Higher Education – Peer Support Sessions 5 and 12 November 2026

Online peer support sessions are organised by Nyyti ry and they are meant for the international LGBTQIA+ students in higher education. These pop up sessions are especially created for you who want to share experiences, find support and talk to other like-minded people about student life and wellbeing as an LGBTQIA+ person.

The  sessions will be held on  5 and 12 November 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Zoom. You can join either session or both. Registration is open.

Online Courses

Did you know that the Nyyti.fi website offers various online courses that you can complete independently?

There is a course on caring for your own mental health and that of your fellow students, a course on facing and processing environmental emotions, and the Learn Life Skills self-help course designed for those reflecting on questions related to well-being and coping.
