METKA’s Board for 2026 has been elected!

METKA’s new board has been elected! Building services student Ossi Pirinen was elected as chairperson and industrial management student Sara Kiljunen as vice-chairperson. The following were elected as board members of 2026:

• Eino Salama (Industrial Management)
• Tia-Maria Turunen (Social Services)
• Aleksi Heikkinen (Information and Communication Technology)
• Emma Klemetti (Design)
• Jenna Pesonen (Osteopathy)
• Atte Kolehmainen (Construction Site Management)

Paramedic student Thomas Heathfield was elected as the chairperson of the Representative Council and Industrial Management student Pyry Piitulainen as the vice-chairperson of Representative Council.

Congratulations for everyone! The new board’s orientation will begin in early December, when the board members will also organize themselves, i.e., divide up their areas of responsibility.
