Welcome to the 3.12.2026 AI Hackathon at Haaga-Helia: Build Real AI Solutions for Business Needs, Meet Industry Experts, Grow Your Network - Limited Seats, Register Now!

Developers are now expected to build AI-powered software solutions, but opportunities to work on real challenges alongside experienced industry experts are still rare. This hackathon brings together students, teachers, developers, and organizations to solve practical business problems using generative AI. Participants will be guided by veteran AI professionals and supported by the GAIK Toolkit (ready SW modules), which helps teams move from ideas to working AI-assisted solutions quickly and systematically.

For students, this is much more than a coding event. It is a chance to expand your professional network, meet potential employers and collaborators, gain hands-on experience with modern AI development practices, and showcase your skills by working on real-world business challenges. At a time when many students have limited opportunities to connect directly with industry, this event offers a rare chance to learn from experts, build valuable contacts, and experience how AI solutions are developed in practice.

For teachers and researchers, the event provides an opportunity to explore practical AI solutions and their development, collaborate with businesses, developers, and fellow academics, and discover tools and approaches that can be applied in teaching, research, innovation projects, and industry collaboration.

Organized by the Helsinki Chapter of Global AAIF Community (Agentic AI Foundations - a Linux Foundations project). Hosted by AI Hub for Business and Education at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Pasila/Helsinki and supported by the GAIK project consortium, 8wave.ai, and Brillian.
