Metropolia looks for student models: Apply for photo shoots

Do you enjoy being in front of the camera, or would you like to experience what it is like to be photographed by a professional photographer? We are now looking for student models for upcoming photo shoots!

Metropolia will organise photo shoots on Thursday-Friday, 1–2 October 2026 (preliminary dates) at the Myllypuro and Arabia campuses. 

What is this about?

Metropolia is going to take new photos for student and stakeholder communications as well as marketing purposes.

The first photo shoot day focuses on our international degree programmes and student support services. The second day brings attention to our education and collaboration with children and families, and we will have a few preschool-aged children participating us.

What do we expect from applicants?

We hope you are happy and confident about being in front of the camera. You are welcome to apply even if you have no previous modeling or photography experience. The most important things are a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

We encourage applications from students of all genders and from diverse multicultural backgrounds. 

We are looking for 6 student models, and we hope they can participate on both shooting days. If necessary, some models may be assigned to different days depending on their background and preferences. 

Perks for our student models: Movie tickets and catering

Models will be provided with lunch and/or snacks during the photo shoot days. In addition, each participant will receive Finnkino movie tickets (4 tickets / person). 

How will the photos be used?

The photos will be used in Metropolia’s communications and marketing materials across Metropolia’s own channels as well as external media, such as social media.

How to apply?

Apply by Thursday, 24 September 2026 by filling in the application form. In the form, we ask your basic information and photo.

We will inform all applicants of the selection results by Monday, 28 September 2026.
