The Herizon Internship Program (HIP) offers Business and IT students a great opportunity to gain hands-on work experience with Finnish growth companies and SMEs – fully remote and in English!

Gain Practical Work Experience with Remote SME Projects

• What: A 15 ECTS (400 hours) accredited internship module consisting of a 2-week self-paced online bootcamp (40 hours) followed by a company project (360 hours). The internship is unpaid. 
• How it works: After completing the bootcamp, you enter a talent pool where companies offer projects through anonymous matching. Please note: Matching can take time and also depends on your own proactivity (e.g., replying promptly to messages and vibe check invitations). 

Is this program for you?

This program is for Business and IT Bachelor’s students who are looking to complete their mandatory work placement (Work Placement 1 or 2).

• Requirements: At least 120 ECTS completed, GPA 2.5 or higher, fluent English, and ability to commit to min. 30–40h/week during the internship. 
• Basic Placement (Work Placement 1): Broadly suitable for Business and IT students looking for general working life experience.
• Professional Placement (Work Placement 2): Best suited if you specialize in Marketing, Sales, Software Engineering, UI/UX, or Data/AI.
