Welcome Hub – Guidance point for international students opens in October at Myllypuro Campus
A new guidance and support point for international students, the Metropolia Welcome Hub, will open at the Myllypuro campus in early October. Welcome Hub provides guidance and organizes information sessions and events to help international students get off to a good start with their studies and in building a good life in Finland.
Welcome Hub will be launched during MetGO on October 2, 2025, and the service point will officially open on Monday, October 6.
Location: Myllypuro Campus, 2nd floor, next to Student and Applicant Services
Opening hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 13:00 to 16:00

Whether you need advice on practical issues, guidance with local services, or simply a place to ask questions, the Welcome Hub is here for you. Our goal is to help you settle into Metropolia, the Helsinki metropolitan area, and Finnish society with confidence, while also creating opportunities to meet other students and build your own community”- Welcome Hub Team.
At the Welcome Hub, you can get guidance on topics such as:
- dealing with authorities
- housing and city services
- services for families with children
- integration and financial matters
