Together for international Metropolia – Take the survey and enter the prize draw for movie tickets

Metropolia invites all students to share their experiences and to contribute to the future of our international higher education community. The aim is to make Metropolia an even better place to study, belong and build your future.  

Our online brainstorming offers you an opportunity to reflect on what it feels like to study in an international higher education environment: what works well, what supports your studies, and where there may be a need for improvement or new solutions.  

What is online brainstorming?  

Online brainstorming is a participatory survey and development platform. The questions adapt based on the background information you provide, and all respondents also take part in a shared section where ideas and solutions for developing Metropolia are explored together.  

How will your responses be used?  

Brainstorming helps us build a deeper understanding of students’ experiences in an international study environment. Particular attention is given to the experiences of international students. Your responses will be used to support the development of:

  • starting studies and academic guidance in Metropolia  
  • integration into the higher education community and everyday life in Finland  
  • practices related to internships and employment  

Why should you participate?  

This is your opportunity to make your voice heard and to influence how Metropolia develops as an international and welcoming higher education institution. Positive experiences and areas requiring improvements are both equally important. Student perspectives are central to building a supportive, inclusive, and connected academic community.  

Answering the survey takes about 10–15 minutes. All responses will be treated anonymously. 

We will have a prize draw of 20 x 2 Finnkino movie tickets among all the students who complete the survey.
