Suomen Mentorit Association announces: The application for the Suomen Mentorit mentoring programme is open until Sunday, 15 March 2026
Would you like your own mentor?
Are you about to graduate from university or have you recently graduated? Are you looking for a job or considering the first steps in your career path or the direction of your future? Are you perhaps interested in entrepreneurship or self-employment? Join the mentoring programme of Suomen Mentorit! You will be paired with a mentor who has long-standing experience in working life, to support you in your job search and career planning, and to help you consider how to build a life and career path that suits you.
In the mentoring programme, you will receive:
- Your own mentor, with whom you will meet 8–10 times as agreed together
- Tools to identify your strengths and articulate your competences
- Sparring and confidence for your job search
- Support for your career reflections and building a life that reflects your own values
- Support in creating professional networks
Participation requirements:
- You are a university student or a recent graduate
- You are looking for a job, or
- You are seeking direction for your career path, or
- You are interested in self-employment and/or entrepreneurship
- You are ready to commit to approximately an 8-month process and at least 8 mentoring meetings (April–November 2026)
Application process:
- Familiarise yourself with our programmes and activities at suomenmentorit.fi
- Complete the application form found on our website by 15 March 2026
- Wait for us to contact you via email in week 15
- If you are selected for the programme, your mentoring journey will begin with a joint virtual launch event on 27 April 2026, 16:30–18:00.
