Peer Groups and Corners to Support Studies for All Metropolia Students
Do you want more support for your studies, new perspectives on everyday life management, or peer support from other students?
Metropolia’s Student Wellbeing Services regularly organizes a variety of groups and “corners” where you can strengthen your own coping, study skills, and wellbeing in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
You can find up-to-date information on all Student Wellbeing Services groups and corners in the Student Information Bank – Groups Supporting Study Skills.
What do the groups and corners offer?
- Practical tips to your studies
- Tools for time management and stress management
- The opportunity to share experiences and receive peer support
- Guidance and inspiration from student wellbeing professionals
Who are the groups and corners for?
- All Metropolia students – whether you are at the beginning of your studies, about to graduate, or just seeking an energy boost for everyday life.
- Choose the group or activity that best suits your needs.
What is the difference between a group and a corner?
- For groups, you commit to attending all meetings and become part of a peer-learning group that meets several times during the semester.
- For corners, you can drop in once or as often as you like—there’s no need to commit to all sessions. It’s an opportunity to meet other students and arrange further meetings around a shared topic.
