Participate in the selection process for the new President-CEO

The recruitment process for Metropolia's new President-CEO is currently underway. Now you have a unique opportunity to participate in an exciting and important event for our higher education community as part of the recruitment process. You will have the opportunity to hear inspiring vision statements from the top candidates who have reached the final stage of the selection process: What will Metropolia be like in 2030? 

The vision speeches & ask the candidates -event will be held in the Metropolia Hall on the Myllypuro campus on Thursday, February 3, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The hall will accommodate as many people as it can hold. The event can also be followed remotely with colleagues and students at the Arabia, Karamalmi and Myyrmäki campus studios. Questions for the candidates can be asked on site or from the campus studios. Please register for the event at your preferred campus via the link below. 

We are looking into the possibility of streaming the event live online. However, questions can only be asked on site at the Myllypuro campus or in the campus studios. The event will be recorded and available for viewing for a limited time. 

The event will be opened by Ilona Lundström, Chair of the Metropolia Board, and hosted by Minna Kaihovirta, Manager of Dialogue. Details are still being finalized.
