Metropolia's Sports and Wellness Services MeMove free January

Zonen will cease operations in December 2025. Some members still have a valid sports pass valid until January 2026. You can continue to use Metropolia's sports and wellness services called MeMove free of charge in January 2026 by redeeming a January trial pass.

Metropolia students and staff can continue to use the sports services on Metropolia campuses with the renewed sports services. However, if you want to try out the service before purchasing it, you can redeem a free trial pass for January.

Please note that as the services are being updated, the reservation management system will also be updated. All customers must create a new customer account in the system in order to redeem their January trial month or purchase sports services. Existing Zone accounts cannot be linked to the new reservation system.

Services included in the trial pass in January 2026:

  • group exercise classes on campus
  • badminton slots
  • gym slots
  • sports hall reservation slots

You can join by purchasing a trial pass from the online store. 

  • Click on this link to go to the online store.
  • Select the trial pass and click on it to add it to your shopping cart.
  • Fill in your details. This will also create an account for you in the Gym Control app.
  • Select your payment method. → The default selection is no payment.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click Proceed to payment. You will not be charged for the product.
  • The pass will be activated immediately. You can start booking slots and classes from January 7, 2026. The first slots and classes will take place on January 12, 2026.
  • Download the Gym Control app and use it to book and cancel slots and check in at the sport facilities.

Please note that reservations can be made from January at the earliest. If a slot or class is full, remember that cancellations may still occur.
