Open Data Weeks: panel discussion Thesis and AI

Welcome to the Finnish panel discussion on how artificial intelligence has changed thesis work from the perspective of both students and supervisors. The panel discussion is part of Metropolia's data campaign, whose theme this year is Responsible AI.

The panel will examine, among other things:

  • how AI is used in the ideation, planning, information search, writing, and analysis of thesis work
  • how supervisors take the use of AI into account in their guidance
  • what kind of ethical and responsibility-related issues new ways of working bring with them
  • what opportunities and challenges AI brings to different fields

The panel will be moderated by Senior Lecturer and Data Agent Jaana Seitovirta.

Who is it for?

The event is aimed at all Metropolia students and teachers who are interested in the role of AI in the thesis process and the future of learning.

The audience can participate in the discussion via chat. Comments and questions from the chat will be included in the discussion as far as possible.
