U!REKA's has just launched a new course offering for you. Hop in and take courses from our partner universities in Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and Scotland!
You can view the entire course offering here.
What are these courses like?
The courses are organised online, and they are mainly free of charge for Metropolia students. Only some courses at the Polytechnic University of Lisbon may include a course fee.
Some of the courses are suitable for everyone regardless of their field of study, and some of them require a certain type of study background.
The courses suitable for everyone offer an excellent chance to prepare for working life, e.g. from the perspectives of sustainable development, digitalisation, or service design. What would the following course examples sound like?
- Adaptable mindset — The world is constantly changing and working life requires the ability to apply and learn new things. The course focuses on developing these competences.
- Sustainability reporting — Sustainability reporting is an increasingly important part of activities in various sectors. The course teaches you how to examine and report on sustainability.
The themes of the field specific courses include, for example, healthcare solutions, sustainable fuels and urban infrastructure.
You can take U!REKA courses offered by other universities. Please note that Metropolia degree students cannot register for Metropolia's own U!REKA courses via the U!REKA website. You must apply for them according to Metropolia's own registration process.
How do I register for the course and get the credits transferred?

For some courses, additional information can also be found behind the Enroll button, directly on the website of the university offering the course.
