Student WellBeing Services informs: Videos and Aspects on (Mathematical) Learning

Students’ mathematical skills and their relationship with mathematics have emerged as important themes in study ability surveys and everyday learning and teaching practice.

This video series offers research-informed perspectives on these issues and is intended for both students and teaching staff. The main themes include:

• Awareness of emotions and their impact on mathematics learning.
• Roles of different approaches and languaging in holistic learning and the development of problem-solving skills.

These materials will be brought to web sites of both students and factulty.

These materials are in Finnish at the moment, but these important issues are being developed also in English, which includes bringing up material in English as well.
