Platforms for publishing, project management, and collaboration
At Metropolia, the following applications are used for publishing, project management, and collaboration:
Confluence Wiki – A powerful yet minimalistic collaboration platform that stores data on Metropolia’s servers.
Google Sites – An easy-to-use but still somewhat limited website builder that stores data on an external server, i.e., in the cloud. Users must comply with Metropolia’s Terms and Conditions for the Cloud Services.
Microsoft Office 365 Sharepoint – Together with other Microsoft applications such as Teams, Planner, and Onenote, Sharepoint forms a workspace for projects. It stores data in the cloud, so Metropolia’s cloud policies must be followed.
WordPress.org – A popular and feature-rich publishing platform that stores data in Metropolia’s data center.
