Calling All Students: Volunteer at the “New in Helsinki” Event This October!
Are you looking for a fun and meaningful way to connect with others, gain experience, and contribute to a vibrant community event?
Together, Haaga-Helia and the City of Helsinki are organising New in Helsinki: Opportunities of Winter. We are looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to help make it a success!

About
Organised by the City of Helsinki and the 3AMK alliance (Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia Universities of Applied Sciences), this free event is designed to welcome newcomers to Helsinki and help them thrive during the winter season.
Volunteers will assist with:
- Welcoming guests and guiding them through the venue
- Helping with snacks and networking activities
- Ensuring the event runs smoothly and guests feel at home

We have space for 15 volunteers. Please note that volunteers must be able to attend the information session on Friday, 10.10.25, from 13.00-14.00, which will take place online.
How to apply
Students interested in volunteering can apply via our survey (Link to Online survey). The application period is open from 19.9-3.10.25. If we receive a high volume of applicants, we reserve the right to close the application period earlier.
