Apply for a travel grant to participate in Urban Circular Hack(athon) in Frankfurt
Join a hackathon in Frankfurt!
Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, one of Metropolia’s U!REKA alliance partners, is hosting a hackathon called Urban Circular Hack(athon) on its campus on 24–25 November 2025. Students from Metropolia are warmly encouraged to participate.
The hackathon is open to students from all fields of study and focuses on solving challenges related to sustainability and climate neutrality in urban environments.

Travel Grant Opportunity:
Three Metropolia students have the chance to receive a €540 grant from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences to support travel and accommodation costs.
If you are interested in applying for the grant, please send the following by Monday, 22 September 2025 via email to Metropolia's U!REKA Coordinator niina.huovinen [at] metropolia.fi:
- Your transcript of records, and
- A motivation letter explaining why you are interested in this hackathon and what makes you a good candidate to participate.
Please note that grant recipients must be degree students at Metropolia, and participation in the hackathon must take place within the standard duration of studies.
